This page explains how to delete your sharedBeat account and the personal data associated with it. (Google Play requires this page to be publicly accessible.)
Option 1 — Delete in the App (fastest)
- Open sharedBeat.
- Go to Settings → Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are scheduled for deletion immediately.
Option 2 — Request by email
If you can't access the App, email privacy@sharedbeat.app from the address linked to your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify it's you and process the deletion.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently delete:
- your profile (name, avatar, email link, timezone);
- your goals, check-ins, and check-in photos;
- your reactions and group memberships;
- your onboarding answers and AI usage logs.
Deletion is completed within 30 days. Copies may persist briefly in encrypted backups, which roll off automatically (within our provider's recovery window).
What we may retain
We may retain limited information where we have a legal obligation to do so, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements, for the minimum period required. We will tell you if this applies to your request.
