This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of the Terms of Service and applies to all content and behaviour in sharedBeat. Because sharedBeat is a social app where users share content (including photos) with their groups, these rules keep the community safe. Violations can result in content removal and account suspension or termination.

- is sexually explicit, pornographic, or sexualises minors in any way;

- contains another person's private or identifying information without consent;
- includes photos of other people taken or shared without their consent;
- infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights;

- scrape or harvest data;
- interfere with or disrupt the service or other users;
- use the App if you are under 18.
3. Reporting and blocking
sharedBeat provides tools to keep you safe:
- Report content: use the report option on any check-in or post to flag content that violates this AUP.
- Block users: you can block another user to stop seeing their content and prevent them from interacting with you.
We review valid reports and aim to act on clear violations within 24 hours, which may include removing content, warning, suspending, or terminating accounts. We may also act proactively where we become aware of violations.
4. Consequences
Depending on severity, we may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts, and where required report illegal content to authorities.
5. Appeals
If you believe we acted in error, contact support@sharedbeat.app. We will review reasonable appeals.
