sharedBeat uses artificial intelligence to help you. This notice explains how, in plain terms, in line with the EU AI Act's transparency principles and our commitment to being upfront.
Where AI is used
- Goal suggestions during onboarding — based on the categories, cadence, and short free-text you provide, AI proposes a few concrete goals you can accept or edit.
- Season recap narrative — AI writes a short summary of a group's season.
- Reminder timing — light automation chooses helpful times to send nudges you've enabled.
What we send to the AI provider
We use Groq, Inc. (United States) for AI inference. We send only the goal categories, cadence, and the short free-text you typed. We do not send your name, email, or account identifier to the AI provider. We minimise what is shared.
What you should know
- AI output is automatically generated. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate, and it can reflect biases in the underlying model.
- AI suggestions are not professional advice — not medical, mental-health, financial, or legal advice. Use your own judgement.
- You are always in control: you can edit or ignore suggestions, and if AI is unavailable the App uses curated, non-AI suggestions instead.
- Please don't enter sensitive personal information (e.g. health conditions) into free-text fields.
